So this guy posted up a thread stating that he was selling a spoon shift **** for $45 shipped.

I was thinking OK, a little cheap, but it looks like a good deal. I asked him if it was mint, he said yes. I asked him if it was a genuine spoon ****, he said hell yes, "got the box and all." I asked if he had vouches, said he had 3 from people he bought from. He said he was going to ship it out the next day after i sent him a payment. He gave me a tracking number, then got a thing from paypal saying he canceled the shipment, reason: "changed mind." WTF? What does that even mean?

So a week later i get the **** in the mail, open it up. I looked inside the **** and it doesn't have threads. I try putting it on my shifter, its just sitting there, rattling around, way too big. Under the spoon logo, there is a spring and you can push it down. It feels cheap, looks fake.

So I call Spoon, and talk to them directly. They said the **** I was sold is fake. I immediately send EK GUEY a pm letting him know that I would like a refund with him covering shipping back to him and paypal fees. Roughly $53. No response. Waited 5 days, still no response.


I CALL BS . REFUND ME MY MONEY!!!!!!!!

 

fail a claim with paypal, they will refund you.

Does the box description say Spoon AT Shift ****? Yours might be automatic.

 

it does say AT, but he said it was for a 5 speed, spoon also told me the **** was fake

Then that explains why it doesn't have threading in it and has a spring and why you can push it down.

he gave me 2 tracking numbers and said he changed his mind. then he re sent it to me.

this very well could be an automatic ****, even if it is, i was led to believe it was a 5 speed **** and was scammed nonetheless.

 

damn everyone on h-t is getting scammed...

 

lets say that it was a genuine **** and it was auto. if you were smart, you would put in the post body that "this is for an automatic transmission." here on HT, i thought it was assumed that most cars here are manual. it is beyond me....

ok first of all i never said it was for a 5spd and u kno it ur jus bsing, besides the pic i had on the for sale thread had a hex wrench beside it, so tell me Y would u need a hex wrench to install it in a 5spd??????

second it is real cuz they do make auto ones, i got it from a local shop who's cars hav bin featured in honda tuning so i kno its legit ****

I think you shouldn't give this guy back **** and btw it is a real spoon **** I have one also and came with the spoon box !

 

you did say it was for a 5 speed, and 5 speed ***** do come with the hex wrench, why would I need to bs?
