Default Engine rebuild bearing question (for first timer)

So a I read the write up by evans racing write up and then went ahead and used my digital calipers to measure my old bearings. From there I plastigauged my everything with my old bearings in place. They all seemed to point toward me getting green coded honda bearings. So I ordered ACL std bearings which everyone had said were equivalent to green bearings.

Today I got my ACL std bearings in. Went ahead and plastigauged these in the motor. and here is what my results were...

Main Bearings
1).0012 2).0009 3).0009 4).0009 5).0008

Rod Bearings
1).0005 2).0006 3).0006 4).0007

WAY TOO TIGHT.

First question. Did I get the correct info. Are ACL std bearings equivalent to green? Secondly what size bearings should I order from honda? I'm trying to shoot for middle of the road. approx .0014 on the mains and .0012 on the rods. what bearings am I going to need to order from honda. Thanks in advance for everyones help.

Main Bearing thickness by color
Blue 2.013-2.010 mm 0.0793”- 0.0791”
Black 2.010-2.007 mm 0.0791”- 0.0790”
Brown 2.007-2.004 mm 0.0790”- 0.0789”
Green 2.004-2.001 mm 0.0789”- 0.0788”
Yellow 2.001-1.998 mm 0.0788”- 0.0787”
Pink 1.998-1.995 mm 0.0787”- 0.0785”
Red 1.995-1.992 mm 0.0785”- 0.0783”

Rod bearing thickness by color
Blue 1.510-1.507 mm 0.0594”- 0.0593”
Black 1.507-1.504 mm 0.0593”- 0.0592”
Brown 1.504-1.501 mm 0.0592”- 0.0591”
Green 1.501-1.498 mm 0.0591”- 0.0590”
Yellow 1.498-1.495 mm 0.0590”- 0.0589”
Pink 1.495-1.492 mm 0.0589”- 0.0587”
Red 1.492-1.489 mm 0.0587”- 0.0586”

This is the sizing chart I am used as a referance. Does this mean I need 1 yellow main and 4 pink main bearings? and then 1 pink and 3 red for the rod bearings?

yea. block is stamped ddddd. then crank is stamped 33233. so looks like 4 blacks and 1 brown for the mains and 3 black and 1 brown for the rods if i'm doing it correct. But those bearings would just make my clearances tighter because they are thicker bearings than the ACL's right?

go by the code on ur block and crank, its there for a reason...code them out and use that chart above to go one side bigger or smaller for whatever ur tryin to achieve...main and rod bearings are not cheap from honda so double check b4 u order them

Thats the thing though. The ones my block is coded for are thicker than the acl's that were way too tight. thats why i'm so confused.

leave the acl out and go by what the block and crank says...acl bearings are for if ur going to ground down ur crank, that way u can have them grind off X amount on ur crank to achieve the spec u wit the acl..i would toss the acl and just get oem honda
