Hey guys ive got a qeustion on this head i just got in the mail. It supposedly has 120k on it. when i started to take it aprt i notice that it seemed that the oil was nearly NEVER changed in this motor!!! Further dissasembly showed that the cam journals have wear in them. A freind on mine said scratch it with a penny to see if it scratched and it did! also when i took off the vtec solinoid there was metal shavings in the filter!!! so what do u guys think it could be from, and do i need to have the cam journals resurfaced!!!

i would start with taking it to a machine shop and having them resurface it and inspect the head.
