how to tell what injector goes to what engine....
I have many injectors laying around, and I need some h22 345 OBD1 injectors. Wel someone gave me some and said they were that. is there a p13 stamping? are the color of the tips different? i know i have a set of f22 injectors and a set of OBD2 h22 injectors. can I use the obdII injectors and just swap injector plus on the harness? any help is appreciated
Putting in my .02¢ for ya Cory..
The OBD1 345cc Injectors I've had have, have had green tips. I dunno about the rest.
The Plugs are different on OBD1 and OBD2 Injectors also.
To use the OBD2 Injectors, you'll have to remove the Resistor Box.

Cory, I wouldn't use obd2 injectors with an obd1 ecu.
Though it might "work" the drivers in the ecu are slightly different and it will never quite run right. Plus, I'm almost sure the mixture would be off.

Here look at this, these are the injectos that came with my H22. Althought they are cracked at certain points, I dont think they are h23 injectors, even thought they have brown, tips(on the ones that arent broke). When compared to H23 injectors, these ones are bigger.

Either they are H23 injectors, or they are something else. They are bigger in comparisson to h23 injectors side by side.

the actual size of the injector has nothing to do with the amount of fuel they put out I think...

Same here, green tip on jdm h22a injectors(obd-1).
I'd use obd-1 injectors if you've got yourself an obd-1 ecu. Mixing components like that can cause AFR issues, or possibly other problems. Better safe than sorry...and h22a injectors do the job just fine.

Hard to tell. There is no definitive markings on them. I had a nightmare of a time trying to find some used ones and then finally buying them from various parts vendors. 5 diffrent parts vendors and every single one of them send me the wrong injectors. 1 vendor insisted that the injectors were the same for the H23 and H22. The injector size means nothing. They are identical in size and also identical to integra injectors. Finally bought them brand new from Honda. Parts vendors install their own tips so color generally means nothing unless they are straight from the dealer.
i have 3 sets of injectors. pics will come this weekend. i kno which ones are the obd2 ones, just not sure about the other 8. I think some have a whitish color tip? take pics tomorrow
