I have searched but I am not sure that I have the same problems as the other people that have posted a tach problem so please don't stomp on me .

Here is the problem, my tachometer jumps and I also have an Apex'i vafc2 that reads my rpms and it reads it fine. Also, everything else on the cluster reads fine. Is this also a ground problem? How can I fix this?

The blue wire going to the distributor and the ignitor card control the stock tach. I also had a bad alternator cause my stock tack to do some crazy shi7. Depending on the year the blue wire goes from the distributor to the driver side strut tower by the clutch master cylinder. Hope this helps
