tach problem HELP! PLEASE!

Default tach problem HELP! PLEASE!

i just bought a tachometer and i know where all the wires go except on e and thats the one that goes to the coil that leads to the distributor.. i have a 99 hatch dx and i heard that u can tap into the wiring harness that goes to the distributor soo u dont have to go inside the distributor but i dont know which wire to splice any info is helpful ty

Just tap the <FONT COLOR="blue">BLUE</FONT> wire behind your gauge cluster. That's the tach signal wire.

i dont have a stock tach thou will that wire still be there?

yep, its the blue wire on the drivers side by the firewall its connected to nothing, its open end is in this rubber box thing

well i couldnt find that blue wire sooo i just guessed on which wire on my dizzy harness to tap into and i was correct soo thanks for the help
