b18 tranny
im doing a clutch and am running into some problems with removing the transmission in my 91 integra ls. first im having problems with taking off the power steering speed sensor even though i got the one bolt holding it in off. Im also having problems getting my axle nut off so that i can get the axle out even though i have the 32mm socket. if anyone has any advice id really appreciate it either here or on aim at stevie01234, im in kind of a jam please help
Speed sensor? You don't need to remove it to pull the tranny, and if you're having problems, it's easier to remove out of the car. As for the axle nut, have somebody hold the brake pedal down and bust out a prybar and break it loose.
hatchling37 is right, you can pull the tranny with the speed sensor on. If you do want to remove it, you'll have to twist the speed sensor back and forth and pull to remove it.
You can disconnect the lower ball joint and only remove the CV joint from the transmission. That is what I do so I don't have to disconnect the axle nut and remove the entire axle.

the speed sensor is in the back of the tranny and connected with a 3 lines, i dont need to take it off to get the tranny out? does anyone have a link to any sites that have how to do the whole tranny removal step by step because that would also be very helpful, thanks

Sorry, I don't have any links. The speed sensor doesn't have to come out of the tranny. The 3 lines do though (2 power steering fluid lines and 1 speedometer cable).
