Just did my rotors...
and now i hear a knock everytime i release the brake trying to accelerate, but only once i go forward. i would hear it again if i reversed and put it into drive again. did i overtighten something? i did notice that i placed the wrong calper bolts in their wrong spots AND the rubber thingy at the end got stuck in the caliper. this is the pics in case my explanations arent clear:

Well if you have worn out calipers the slider pin hole can get sorta oval shaped;
But what I suspect, is that there is a little space between the ends of the pads and the bracket, you are hearing the pads shifting.
You can "prove it" by cutting a little part of business card and putting it under the end of the pad where it sits in the holder, then test drive foward and reverse again.
This problem occurs more often in 98+ Hondas.
The design change[reason for extra space] is to keep a hot/expanded pad from binding and dragging on the rotor.

thanks but at the back of which pads? the outter one or inner, where the cylinder presses onto the pad?
the sound could be described as when you try to move the wheel in a circular motion but only so far back and forth because you have the other tire sitting on the ground, so tranny locks up; you hear that knocking sound.

NOT a motor mount. You can see a motor mount that's bad by revving the engine while parked to see the movement.</TD></TR></TABLE>
you gotta try to help me out man; its bothering the crap out of me.
i noticed that the two calipers bolts are mixed up and i the rubber piece on one end of the bolt is stuck inside the caliper. could it be a worned out caliper?
