Default Looking for opinions on DEI sensor/option choices

I was wondering what everyone's opinion is on a Paging alarm vs. a non-paging and recommendations for sensors/modules.

I'm looking into a Hornet 745T alarm system, but I can't find any information on how far the range is. Whenever I'm away from my car I'm usually quite a distance away, probably too far to be paged, unless I'm at work or out shopping. There is a huge price difference between paging and non-paging and I'm not entirely sure I have enough reason to justify getting a 2-way.

So lets say your alarm were to go off in the middle of the night and it pages you, would you go out and confront the culprit? Other than knowing when someone is messing with your car, or knowing if your alarm has accidentally been tripped when you are in close enough range to be paged, but not close enough to hear the alarm... Why else would you benefit from this feature?

Also, I have read about the sensors that are recommended on this site. If you were to rank the following sensors in order of importance what would they be (#1 being most important and #5 being least important)

506T AUDIO GLASS SENSOR
507T TILT/MOTION SENSOR
508D FIELD DISTURBANCE SENSOR
520T BACK UP BATTERY
509U ULTRASONIC SENSOR

I welcome any help or suggestions. Thanks in advance

No, you should not confront someone braking into your car, it could get you killed.

That does not mean you can't yell at them, from a safe distance, that they have been spotted or cops have been called.

1way or 2way is up to you, there is a price diff., but not a lot when you take into account features that 2ways have.

I have been installing car alarms for as long as there have been car alarms, I still have a 1way alarm in my 94LS, [Alpine SEC-8048] with dual stage impact and dual stage proximity and some redundant, [not part of alarm] kill switches.

520T
508D
507T
509U
506T

The 520T and 508D are the only things I would add to an alarm, along with the dual stage impact that comes with the alarm.
If installed properly a crook can not get into car without triggering the alarm with the above. 94

It's interesting that you mention the 508D as being important. I haven't heard many positive comments about it.

Also can you explain why you have the 506t so low on your list? I was predicting that to be one of the most important things as I have had a car broken into by someone throwing a spark plug at a window. However, wouldn't a good enough alarm system be able to detect impact to a window without the audio sensor?

Paging can also be useful other than alerting to theft.

I have been to car audio comps/car shows & used the paging as a means to alert me when I am away of a judge at my ride ready for me. I write a note or mention to them to tap on my windshield when they are ready for me.

As far as the DEI 506T Audio Glass Sensor...for the most part a good dual stage shock/impact (DEI 504D Stinger Double Guard) will detect when glass is broken especially if you have tint which is more of a impact when broken with the glass staying together than the high pitch sound without tint of glass shattering.
