Default good setup for turbo GSR?

Kind of a budget setup

stock bottom end
stock cams (possibly skunk2)
Ferrea valvetrain
T3/t4 57 trim turbo .63 a/r
2.5in piping all around
Blox turbo mani (or TToys short tube?)
Skunk2 intake mani
Walbro 255/dsm 450cc inj (or 550cc?)
Aem fuel rail
Tial 38mm wg
Turbo xs std. boost controller
Blitz fatt turbo time
Of course headstuds, bolts blah blah
looking to run on 8psi
All tuned on s200

I have NO experience w/ a turbo car at all and a few people were tellin me that the t3/t4 57 turbo is too big.. some peeps referred a gt28 or a t3 super 60, would those be better options? also the car is going to be a dd for about a year

if your gonna listen to anybody, you might as well just close your eyes and pick. i would suggest getting maximum boost by corky bell and start there, there's a great chapter on how to properly pick your turbo

How much hp you looking to get? You will also have to get a resistor box with those 450s. Look for saturated injectors. I would go 750s if you ever plan on going more boost then you wont waste your time with small injectors and end up having to upgrade when your not satisfied. Thats my opinion.

I have a 94 GSR with 186000 miles on it. Put a turonetics T3/T4 Stage III big shaft OE on it, turbonetcis WG & BOV, love fab mani, 450 DSM injectors, Hondata s300, spearco intercooler, and everything else is stock bottom end and all. At wyotech we put it on the Dyno and it made 292.5 WHP on 9psi on pump gas.

So like one dude said do some research and decide for your self

Thanks Dimp, got another GSR block and a set of Darton 84mm sleeves and then swaping out the T3/T4 for a Full-Race T3/T67 H.O BB turbo.

1. There doesn't seem to be much of a question (aka tech) to this thread.
2. If you have a question about Forced Induction, common sense would say that the Forced Induction Forum would be a good place to start.
3. Since these are technical forums, dont simply toss up pictures of your setup without some reason for doing so.
