Default Putting a f22b dohc into my 95 accord lx.

I have a 95 accord lx with a f22b non vtec. Im searching for an engine and i have found a f22b dohc. I need to know if this is going to be a direct swap, or do i need to get anything else to do the swap? ecu? mounts? Thanks!

jdm f22b dohc = f22 bottom + h23 head
9.2:1 compression (h23 = 9.8:1), 160hp/148ft lbs (h23 = 160hp/156ft lbs)

so it's basically going to be like swapping an h23 into your accord.

i think i read somewhere that you can get away with running your stock ecu for the time being, but they recommended a p13, P39(jdm f22b dohc ecu), or one that's chipped to run your motor.

for engine mounts, you're going to need a prelude driver side mount. the rest will work just fine as long as you're not doing an automatic to manual swap at this point too. otherwise you will need the transmission mount also.

the wiring's not hard. just follow a writeup on installing an h22 and forget about vtec and a few other things i believe.

here's an h22 write up:

EDIT: to keep your powersteering, you're going to need a 97+ prelude ps bracket. I forgot to mention that. I removed my ps, so i didn't need the bracket

just cuz its f series doesnt mean anything... you would have to change the wiring on an f23 or f20b or even an f22b1 (you have a b2)
