Default 07 Si muffler to my 97 hatch, will this work? need help

i dont know much of my 97 hatch spec. but i seen a white EK that able to fit an Si muffler. as far as i can remember on his thread, it got a 2.5 piping. i was wondering if this is the right year model or is it the 02-05 Si muffler? i like the sound since its not much loud. if you guys can pinpoint me to right direction, i would really appreciate your help.

The 02-05 Si has a dual tip while the 06+ Si has a single tip. I was going to put an 07 Si muffler my on 92 hatch. Custom welding and bending of the exhaust pipe is needed since the inlet of a stock 92-00 Civic's exhaust comes in on right side (if looking at it mounted from the tail end) while the 06+ Si's inlet is on the left. There isn't a lot of space to bend the exhaust from the 'axleback' to reach left inlet of the 06+ Si muffler without maybe kinking the pipe. It's possible though, I'm just letting you know where I was at.

I ended up selling my muffler though.

i got it done on my ek... and honestly the muffler shop can make anything fit rite with the correct amount of cash bro 3 of my friends also have this muffler and they are all 06-07 si mufflers the guys at any muffler shop know what they are doing so its an easy job for them with a little bending and welding

Did you keep the original oval tip? I traded a friend with an 06 EX for her round tip. The round tip + 06+ Si muffler = best combo.

Doesn't look bad at all. I should have put the muffler on my hatch, but I had the ES oval on it at the time.

I went through my camera memory card and found pics of the FG2 (Si) muffler with an FG1 (EX) tip. I never mounted the muffler and sold the muffler as-is. Don't remember who I sold it to.

In the first pic, I didn't cut off the stock Si tip bracket, so the EX tip (which didn't have a tip bracket on the muffler) didn't slide all the way down. I did end up cutting that bracket before I sold it.
