Default 07 Civic SI Underdrive Pulleys

So far I have cai, full catback, hi-flowcat, testpipe, and header. I'm looking for a set of Underdrive pulleys. I heard NST makes a set. Any opinions out there about a good set of pulleys? also hp gains? let me know thanks

dang....to bad we cant do those kinda of things here in CA.

as for the NST pulleys, there is a set out and from what i heard they are good and they produced good gains. i believe hp gains are 5-7.

there is also UR pulleys as well. i had them on my old car and really liked it.

Where do you feel the gain? I know they give better throttle response but i also wanna see a gain up top in i-vtec

Here's a thread from 8thciv on this topic -

Most people seem to like the NST pulley kit since you also get an idler pulley.

Edit: The NST kit isn't available until March 31 (9 more days), although they are taking pre-orders.

ok this has been bugging me for a while.... first of all you cant have a test pipe if you have a cat. also just cause you have a shorty header doesnt mean the next pipe out is a test pipe. you could have 4-2-1 header and still have a test pipe like in my case. hell, some headers come with a test pipe built into it already and automatically eliminates the cat. ""a test pipe is for when you remove or dont put on a cat"" otherwise it is probably gonna be called a down pipe. and just cause turboed cars have a down pipe deosnt mean that you cant have a down pipe. all a down pipe is is the pipe coming down from your header out on to the rest of the exhaust. ie cat or no cat! what you have is a 4-1 header with a down pipe that goes straight into your cat, then your resonator (if it came with one) then your muffler.

took me about an hour to do mine, not hard at all. air tools are a must. the hardest part is getting the belt back on because the idler pulley is so close to the motor mount.
