b18c engine rpm?

i just swapped my b18c engine into my hatch. having an idle problem. it wont go pass 3000. im using an LS ecu. temporary. the distributer is kind of bad. anyone know whats the problem?

i would say both of what you just mentioned are attributing to the problem. sounds like its in limp mode. are you using a vtec distributor?

i didnt add the muffler yet. the only thing is on is the headers my friend says its the muffler. think thats it?

di you have any cel and if you do what are they ive had a similar prob but i need more info to help more

i just put in the pipes and muffler..the car still doesnt go pass 3000...anyone have any suggestions?
