Anyone has experience with Dunlop FM901?
I've done a search and only found one review on this tires, as far as I know this model is new and not too many people have experience with them. Anyone know anything about these tires?
thanks,

I just threw them on my TE-37's, and mounted them a couple of days ago, the rims rock, and the tires are pretty sticky......and although they chirp, they are a lot quiter them my old A320's
My gf wanted to test drive a 01 PY with 20k miles. The R had brand new ones mounted and the rims are scratched from idiot mounting job. Anyway, she came back telling me she likes the car but the tires sucks! She owns 01 Celica GTS and she said her oem Yokos felt much tighter turn in and tractions.

That one review you read might have been mine.

Cliffs: I like em, a lot. Prob not as much absolute grip as an azenis though.

yeah, that's the posting I've read, I wanted to go for the Azenis but then I've heard that in the rain Azenis is not safe for daily driving. That's why I am looking in to the FM901. Anymore input?
TIA.

I use these tires on the street. I've only put about 1,000 miles on them, so they are still very new. My preliminary review is that they give plenty of grip. I've only squealed them once, and I think it had more to do with some slick pavement than the actual tires.
The FM901s do give more tire/road noise than what I am used to. That is the only downside. It seems like these tires are pretty popular overseas. A search for "Dunlop FM901" on Yahoo and Google returned a lot of foreign web sites.

i just got my FM901s, and immediately drove them for almost 1000 miles from SF-LA and back again. All I can compare them to are my old dunlop SP9000s and stock michellins. In my opinion, they're a little bit better than the stock michellins, but not as grippy as the SP9000s. For the price, however, I'm not complaining. They seem to work fine in light rain, but I haven't really tested them in real rainy weather. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied!

My friend is looking for 205/55/16. Do you know of a place that gets the tires for a good price?

if they are less grippy than the SP9000 then they are well behind Bridgestone RE730's and I would suspect S03's and both the bridgestone do well in rain.
How do these compare with the Pirelli P700-Z?

ANything has to be better. For the price P700's are great for a ford escort but they are not high perf compared to others out.
