Ready for paint
I just picked up some omni bc/cc paint.
What would the flash time be for base coat and clear coat?
Materials I have
- tack cloth
- bc / cc gun
- 50 gal compressor
- paint
- mixing cup

some thinner for cleaning the guns, maybe some cleaner, like dupont 3939s...or some final clean to clean off the car before you tack it off. Make sure the tac cloth is the last thing to touch the car before painting. make sure you have reducer and activator for your base coat and clear coat. Your flash time is gonna be depending on the weather your spraying temperature wise.
Shouldn't be too hard to figure out. Just spray a small test panel aka spray out card the same as how your painting your parts. When you can softly touch the base with out making an impression, its flashed. When the clear starts to tack up and solidify, its flashed. Without any description of materials, conditions, reducer temp, ect you can't get an accurate answer. Average temps, conditions with according materials (not slow) around 10 to 25 mins for flashing.

20-30 minute for BC, check the temperture, the rate of the reducer first.
once you done with bc leave it for half a day if you are working with black
