Default Paint experts, Quick question.

Someone rattle canned the engine bay black in a shell im buying. Is there a product out there that can get this paint off without harming the oem paint. From what i was told the oem paint wasnt prepped or anything just sprayed over.

Please forgive my ignorance, thought i would ask here before i shell out money to have the engine bay repainted.

TIA

It will take a lot of elbow grease and solvents but most likely its not worth it to try to save it. You can spend less time to prep, refinish the bay. If you prep it then seal - base - clear, it will look way better.
