Serious Problem.. please help.....................
The other night my Gsr died on me on the highway. We thought it was the alternator so i changed the alternator and the battery. 3 days later my car dies again.
Heres how it went down before it died...
first - the ABS came on and made my car drag for a while
second - then the car just slowly died....
Interesting thing though, because sometimes when the car is almost dead.... i will jump the clutch and try to rev the engine and out of nowhere... a whole power boost comes back as if nothing was wrong with the car but then seconds later it will go right back down to its power outage stage....
anyone ever have this happen? any help ? please? anything ....?

You dont have to take out the axle to change the alternator...although it would probably make it easier.
The ground that most often causes problems is the one from the chassis to the trans. Make sure it's not corroded, missing, broken, etc. The battery ground is the next one that may be an issue.
Check your fuse box for an ELD fuse. Electronic load detector. I dont remember if DCs have it. If the ELD fuse is blown, the alternator wont charge the battery.
Is your ABS light in the correct position? Have you changed clusters? The later clusters had a different light arrangement. Maybe your "ABS LIGHT" is actually your battery light in that case.
