Default B16A ENGINE SWAP : HELP NEEDED!

hi, i got directed to this site because of the help apparently offered so im new here :D, i currently own a civic coupe 1.6i ls 96-98 engine code : D16Y7! :S i dont like the engine anymore at all so iv secured a loan of 2000 and am HOPEFULLY planning a B16A swap, id like someone to tell me just how much they think il be paying to find the mounts, gearbox etc, what do i actually need other then the engine which i will buy that will include ECU and wiring loom last time i checked. Engine iv seen for about 500 so iv got 1500ish (1700 - 1750 give or take my finances) to spend to get it in....what ya reckon?? :S
im not looking to sell the coupe and just buy a vti either, i want the full package of watching my civic grow :D

thanks for all help given, and abuse thrown of why i was a silly sod and bought a LS in the first place is taken happily lol

$500 for a b16a engine (obd ??), u sure ?
the healthy and come with warranty and complete b16a swap should cost u around $2000~$2500 which comes with ecu, engine and tranny, all sensors and harness.
u will need to get new mounts ,axles, shiftlinkage throttle cable ..etc which will cost u several hundred dollars depends on what u buy
and also u might need exhaust manifold and down pipe cause most of the swap does not come with down pipe and u will need b series cat convertor or have a muffler shop cut, extended and welded your existing d series cat convertor and again there goes another couple hundred dollars. u can go cheap with megan header $180 and muffler shop should costs u around $50
and if u can do the labor by yourself, it will save your around $500~$750. and plus some wear and tear items such as spark plugs and wire, dizzy cap and rotor and a tune up.
so to sum up, u do the math. $2000 is definitely not enough

ok but b16a tranny will cost u around $600 USD and all the parts i mentioned above.u might be able to do it if u can get the parts cheap and do the labor by yourself. it is not that hard https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/878010
