The only people that I am aware of that make any such contraption will be Metra. I do not think that they have on e for the Acura though...

Try searching Google for something like an aux input interface. It plugs into your aux input and RCA cables in the back of your oem unit. I believe some also have another wire that plugs into your cd changer input, so the iPod can still charge.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Type S does not allow for the iPod to charge (because it has the 6 disc chamger). Sucks for me, got a Type S.

Anybody know anything more please shed some light!

There was a DIY on ClubRSX awhile back on adding a iPod connection through the stock headunit.

How easily done is this on an EP? I just bought an Ipod and want to connect it to my stock unit.

kenwood has an adaptor that plugs into the port in the rear of the deck that a cd changer would plug into so its hardwired into the radio...none of that fm transmitter bullshit. it sounds great, cd quality, and it charges too. only thing is idk if its compatible with everything. it might just be for kenwood headunits n i have a kenwod so i dont know if it works with factory

I read the link, and it says you CAN NOT use it with the CD changer. Because it needs to plug into that port. So one or the other.
