Default Side Mirror

Searched, but to my disappointment, no results.

ANyways, my driver side mirror has a problem, and I dont know how to fix it. Well the problem is, is that it vibrates/shakes when driving, or when the music is high. How would I go about to make it so it doesnt shake anymore.

Thanks.

Also, side note, to remove headlight assembly, does the front bumper have to come off? I removed all 4 bolts and the headlight doesnt want to just come out.

What year and trim civic do you have?

I have a 98 ex w/ the tweeters on the door...
Basically you just open your door, lower your windows, pull on that black tweeter pod, pull from the top towards the bottom (Imagine a book standing up and falling down flat) (check out part# 30) then make sure the screws are tightened.

Ive got a 93 HB DX

For the bumper, to remove it, is it just the four or five screws on the top?

the nuts on the side mirror might have come loose. just pulled the mirror cover off and tighten the nuts and yes u will have to remove front bumper to adjust or remove the headlights. cause there is a nut hidden within the bumper

I know there are three nuts on the side if you remove the cover from inside. BUt its notht he whole thing that shakes. Only the actual mirror shakes, the rest of it sits still. So how would I go about just tighening the mirror?

ok i got it now. it is the bracket and some retainer/springs broken. u can tear down the whole mirror to inspect but the parts alone will cost u more the one from your local junk yard for like $20

crazy guy, why are you so smart??? you could always do what i did and take a little piece of rolled up tape, paint it black so you can't see it, and wedge it in between the mirror and the housing for the mirror. maybe ghetto, but i just didn't feel like driving to a junkyard, payin 20 dollars, and putting another mirror on when i could just jam something in there. ha. oh well.
