Default Type-R muffler - different part number for '97 and '98+ ???

I have two part numbers for the Type-R muffler. I did a price check on both part numbers and there is a difference of ~$20 between them. The '97 muffler was cheaper. Does anyone know of any difference in the Type-R mufflers for '97-'01?

Here are the part numbers:

18030-ST7-C60 '97 Integra Type-R muffler
18030-ST7-Z61 '98+ Integra Type-R muffler

or maybe the older ones rattled/vibrated internally so they re-designed it?

Or maybe the older ones were designed to go with the 97 rear bumper. I heard there was a difference between the 97 and the 98+ rear bumpers.

this is probably the reason, but I don't see that much of a difference where they needed to change/modify the exhaust

the opening of the bumper for the tip is still in the same place and clearance... only the 98+ wrap around the sides of the tips more due to its lower profile...
