so i got a 96 coupe with a b18b1 and now i am blowing the fuse for my ecu and have no idea where the short is. I checked all my wires and i found some open wires and fixed them but it's still blowing that fuse what should i do?

 

Is fuse 31 blowing? If so, this fuse protects not only the ECU but also the main relay and integrated control unit. Disconnect each component individually to localize the source of the electrical short.

Can I assume that the fuse blows when you turn the ignition key to ON?

If so, you can disconnect either the ECU, main relay, or integrated control unit connector(s) (one at a time), turn the ignition key to ON, and identify the disconnected component that blocks the fuse from blowing.

 

cool thnx but the fuse blows when i am driving then when i replace it that's when it blows when i just turn the key
