i have a 00 civic si with jdm itr swap. my car has been working fine. But now my vtec kicks in about 7k and somtimes it doesnt even kick in. I tried changing oil and ecu. I was told maybe a loose wire anyone know what wires i can check? or if anyone knows any other idea let me know. thanks

 

try checking your vtec solinode, mabie you have a bad one, check the vtec,knock, wires...

yeah hot wire vtec solenoid housing and if u can hear a soft clilck.that means it is good.
