Increased traction can never be bad. If your running high boost you may want to look into a helical diff like a quaiffe.

If you're going to buy an LSD, dont bother with the ITR LSD, opt for the Quaife instead.

Both the ITR and Quaife units are helical LSDs. They are torque biasing units which means that they act like an open differential if one wheel has no traction. Neither likes wheel hop. For drag racing, a clutch pack unit is superior.

What is your WHP?

Correct me if i'm wrong, i'm still a Honda noob coming from a DSM, but I thought the ITR LSD wasn't compatible with the GSR tranny and the LS tranny? Or maybe it's just the LS tranny? Or there's a good chance I have no idea what i'm talking about. I don't know, but someone please enlighten me.

The GSR and ITR transmissions share the same case. The ITR LSD is a direct swap into the GSR. (I did this on my GSR.) I recall it being compatible with the LS transmission with slight modification.

I am currently at about 300whp on 9lbs, as soon as i decide what to do with my tranny i am going for a 20lb tune and aiming for 450-500whp. Right now i have a phantom grip lsd block on my GSR diff., and dont know if i should use that or run my GSR diff stock. Money is tight and i need a simple solution.
