OK, here's the setup.
89 CRX SI
Stock master
stock booster
DA front brakes
CNC staging brake
Inline proportioning valve
MB straight axle with wilwood single piston calipers
got the system all bled today, even with the proportioning valve all the turned down, the rear brakes lock up at like 5mph. = disasterous at high speed. anyone experience this before, and what did you do to resolve this?

disconnect you back brakes from the front. you dont want them like that. like you said "disasterous at high speed" ask Danny Tran..

what do you mean by disconnect it from the front? have a seperate reservoir for the staging brake, and just run the fronts off the pedal?

is this a common practice? does anyone have this setup with it still being used off the brake pedal? and if so, what parts to make it work?
have you looked into a wilwood adjustable proportioning valve ?
most all of your Pfwd/hotrod cars are setup on seperate brake systems. i know we only use the rear brake to burnout/stage. other than that. we never use it... oh yea. and as an "ebrake"

i have an adjustable valve that is next to me in the car, i had it fully adjusted both directions, and both times, it was instant lock. looks like i'm going to try and find a reservoir for it, and plug the rear line from the master
