DIY....Filter element (passenger compartment)
This is very easy, but you get a big improvement in interior air quality.
Parts needed:
1.-Element filter........part number........81292SECA01..........around $50usd
2.-No tools but your hands.
Time:
Aprox. 5-10 min
Dificulty level:
Very easy. Anyone can do it.
Procedure:
A) Open the glove box, and press on the sides to release the locks that prevent the lid to fully fold downwards...

B) Press towars each other, the side tabs that keep the filter cartridge in place (they have an arrow shape)

C) Remove cartridge and replace filter, making sure the retaining tabs grab the ends of it. (notches at he bottom of the cartridge must seal all around the filter)

D) Replace cartridge and press again on the sides of the glove box to close it.
And thats it, fresh air, free from hair, insects and other stuff that gets caught in the filter.
Hope it helps.

They're the easiest ones to do. The hardest are the older '98 to '02 Odyssey's where you have to cut the plastic bar out before you can pull the filter tray all the way out.
