Default OE Hardtop help....I going crazy!!!!!

Does anyone have a simple solution to fix rattling hardtop strikers? The damn things will rattle if I even sneeze with the windows up and I'm going fricken nuts. Are you able to adjust the tension on these or am I ultimately going to have to replace them? I saw a great idea on the "How to" threat but it turns out it's for the soft top.

i removed my visors, removed the side pillars going vertically on each side of the windshield, and i found that the car shakes the bolts loose. I tightened them down, and the rattle was gone. so was the wind noise.

reebs is right they do rattle loose if Locktight wasnt used. try that. there are also shims you can get maybe you need to shim it tighter or take a shim out if there are shims in it. id try that and see where it takes you

Thanks for the info. I'll check that out this weekend. I'll pretty much try anything to avoid purchasing new strikers although I will if I have to.
