Default this test pipe an INVIDIA? do i need antifouler? and also what size is this TP?

EDIT: just installed my TP . no WD-40 b/c lil bro took it.. was not fun gettin those bolts out b/c i used a gun to tighten them on base, but lil muscle solved the problem.. but overall sounds great, only problem is that my 02 sensor hangs lower then everything else.. if i slam my car and go over a hill ramp and my middle scratches, i have a feeling my 02 wire will get scratched / cut up / ripped

What Size is my test pipe? if someone can kindly show me how a test pipe is measured because the diameter of the outlet is a lil larger b/c when u look inside the diameter gets smaller.

Original Post:

picked this TP up from a friend but he wasnt 100% sure if it was an invidia test pipe or the size..is this a 60mm or 70mm, and if its a 60mm and im most likley gonna return it or resell it and just get the Berk TP b/c i hear it is A LOT better performance wise.

and do i need an anti-fouler for my 02 sensor, b/c this test pipe 02 bung hole is a lot longer then the OEM invidia 60mm one pictured here:

and here is the pictures of the test pipe im about to install tomorrow

BTW:
60mm = 2.36 inches
70mm = 2.756 inches

thanks in advance

-Jesse

It looks like it already has an antifouler already. I don't think you will see any difference between a 60mm or 70 mm testpipe.

i never understood why people think their is a difference in performance between test pipes, it's a straight metal tube with a bung for the sensor. i mean how can there be a difference between two straight pipes?

so people who spend $300 on a jdm piece of metal tube are stupid. just goto some exhaust place and have them put one on for under $100.

maybe im using too much common sense.....

however, most exhaust shops will not do this due to the illegality of removing the cat in favor of a test pipe

btw the berk test pipe i found is 60$

and this invidia test pipe is 70$ ... so cheap ebay or going to muffler shop will cost more then that

yeah its common sense until someone else proves u wrong and says other wise..

im not clueless and un-car experienced and would just think of out of the blue the "jdm one" will be better

ive been told through numberous people that the berk test pipe has a better design to it, perfect fitment whereas the invidia one has a flaw where it leaks a little and ive had friends personally tell me when they switched from the invidia to berk they did not have anymore problems with the smell and they felt better in performance .

but other then that thanks for the help guys... but no response to my other question about 60mm or 70mm , and is it an invidia test pipe ?

Where did you get that price? Are you talking the 60 or 70 RS? My 70RS, brand new, was almost double that, lol

But anyways a test pipe is a test pipe, the only reason why I got the Invidia, is because it was the only 70mm test pipe and my new exhaust will be 70mm.

The 70mm test pipe would measure 70mm of the Inner diameter of the pipe itself.

I have the Invidia 70MM TP and 70MM single exhaust. A pipe is a pipe...

I also have never scraped my exhaust.

How do you like the sound level of your 70RS? I've heard way too many stories about J's resonators blowing out. I think I'm going to get a 70RR when one goes up for sale.

Unfortunately I haven't got mine yet. Hopefully should be getting it within the next month and I could give you an update then. I have a coworker that has a tig welder and can do titanium, so hopefully when and if that time comes, it won't be too bad.
