well i figure I want the vtec lobes agressive and the non vtec lobes mild i can tune my valve lash to get top end, out of the hole, or all around performance, so basically im asking for someone like myself that does know how to manipulate my valve lash what would be the best specs for tuneability (-is that a word?) ??

Well your lash adjusters aren't meant to be constantly adjusted. Sooner or later they're going to get worn out. Unless you have a 600hp drag car, messing with your lash won't do much for significant performance gains anyway. If you want to play with your "tune", get forced induction and a boost controller. You'll have more top end and out of the hole with FI than without. Shoot for real HP, not placebo HP.

yes they will wear out they were designed that way. and yes you can tune for top end out of the hole and all around get up and it does make a difference at all levels of horsepower. do you think tuned N/A cars run the manufactured bracket on lash specs? dont think so. and its pretty obvios turbos make HP but i didnt ask for input on how to build my car.. just some numbers/input on cams from someone who knows what theyre talking about. nice try thanks

Seems like a big waste of time adjusting your lash for performance. To me it screams "I want it to sound like I know what I'm doing". Unless your stuck running a completely stock engine, why?

No, they run whatever lash specs the cam manufacturer recommends. Or in your case, whatever you want "for better out of the hole or top end". Anyway, enjoy wasting your time.

Honestly, ask the same question on D-series.org and get knowledgable answers! I wouldn't know where to start cuz I just went with a Comp 59300. GL!
