yea,,maybe im thinking it to fast but i figure i got the case apart already weld 2 fittings ( a feed on botttom and a return on top) ill make the return a bit bigger and bushing it down to the size i need for the return so i could use it to fill the tranny when changeing fluid..then come out the feed into a tranny fluid pump with check valve ,,some line into a tranny cooler and fittings ,,,and some power and its done could even put a magnetic filter in also

umm...as far as i know our manual trannies just sorta splash the fluid around, theyse no pump to actually pump it anywhere. (i don't think any manual tranny has a pump )
By putting one fitting at the top and one at the top it won't go anywhere...you would have to install a pump as well, and do way too much work for nothing.

Manual Transmissions Fluid just jumps around the gears.

Automatic transmissions ( is what has transmission coolers) has valves and solenoids which let fluid get to different parts..

First off its gonna be hard to attach nipplies to the transmission since its like cast.. and second. the fluid wont be pumped anywhere...

You would have to rig up a system to pump the fluid out of the transmission, through a cooler, and back into the trans which means at one point the transmission will probably be about a quart low on fluid because it will be going through the pump
