Default Dyno tuning in Washington or British Columbia?

Do you folks know who in the Vanvouver area does dyno tuning? I am looking for someone who might be familiar with megasquirt or Megajolt programmable engine management..

I live in BC but would be willing to travel to Washington State as well to find what I need. I can load a base program into the computer, but fine tuning on a dyno under load is the best way to ghet the most out of the system..

Thanks

PM me

I've tuned Megashit before, and there are a couple alumni here who opened a shop dedicated to tuning and building Megashit boards.

I'm in Bellingham these days. Close to you.

as i hear megasquirt is good...while it works but anyway it is cheap to build another one for spare lol

in BC...i don't know man...go to Washington or call the tuner to come up to tune your car
btw, do u have a base map for your setup? if so, at least you have a good start and you can drive the car to get it tune

Here are a few from the forced induction tuner faq. I'm sure they can tune N/A too. Here is the list for washington, I'd call them with specific details:

-Bellingham, WA
-leed16@hotmail.com
-Very good guy to work with. does street and/or dyno tuning. only charges a flat rate, and will stick with your tuning session until it is tuned correctly

i wouldn't really bother with Kinetic at this point (in Port Kells). they seem like they're never open to rent out the dyno anymore. there's another shop in New Westminster called 'Racing Greed' and apparently they have a mustang dyno there. i have no personal experience with them though.

have you tried calling wayne at Garagefive? he's local and tunes as well. last i checked, he's one of the few that Kinetic opens up for these days.

HOLY.. Great info man.. I get used to dealing with Euro post boards and it seemed that they had all the expertise over there.. Good to know that I'm not living in a Megasquirt wasteland after all..

Hi Jonathan.. Yes it's been a long time. I do lurk around the site from time to time, but thers's not too much on the stuff that I'm into now on here.. Too bad. Honda tech is a great site!

I am just putting my Lotus motor back together, then off to Vegas for a bit, then I can get to the Zetec.

Mind you I need to BC safety this car first ( imported from merry old England don't you know..) with the motor that's in it just to get plates on the car. My bits that I need for that have just arrived this week, so my work is cut out for me..

This will be the only RS Escort I know of on the street in Canada. In fact I know of no others in the US that aren't track cars only either.

I can hardly wait..
