pure street rules state you have to run stock oem exhaust?wtf only the header can be added!
I swear this has to be the most emotional I have been before a season
First, rules/classes were released with no Quick 16 class - sad
Then there is going to be a Quick 16 class - happy
But has to be older than a 1992 - sad
Now no model year limitations - happy
Now, I'm sad again because diesel is $4 a gallon.
haha, I'm done being all emotional.....

I thought I was the only one that noticed that!!!
Theres a station around the corner from me at $4.12
Now think, its not even summer peak season yet!!!
We will probably see $4.50 to to maybe $5.00 a gallon!!!

I just got done towing to from indy to dallas and back to indy. We had several fill ups over $150.
Right now, if my tank were empty, it would cost over $170 to fill it up.
Back in 03 when I raced, it was around $70-$80 tops for a fill up.
It's looking like about $800-$1000 a race just in fuel (round trip) for us at least.

Kinda strange, they are listed as slicks. Don't see a thing about DOT..
To make it worse I just gave the darn things away, never frigured they
would be legal for PS

The way that section reads, I would think that's only true for factory unmuffled cars trying to remain unmuffled.

NHRA/NOPI made a mistake and revised the rules on 3/19. The Toyo slicks are not DOT-legal therefore not allowed in Power Street. The Toyos, 25x9-15 and 26x9-15, are legal in Turbo Street.
Hope that clears it up.
