What would be a reasonable estimate of hp/tq gain in a stock b16a sir2 with
ITR cams

would mixing ctr and itr benifit me at all and if so how should i mix them?
I heard with tuning they might be good

 

since b16 cams are weak, its well worth it to swap to itr/ctr. my p30 b16 made 160wheel with itr cams. although i think that's a high number, there still as a hp gain from itr cams. prolly 10hp

 

only diff. between ITR & CTR is the intake cam. Both have the same exhaust cam.

I'm hoping to hit 160whp without the cams first then swapem in; the butt dyno says its almost time to hit the real dyno

I will run some ITR cams then

 

CTR intake cam is hotter than ITR intake cam. FYI

 

CTR>ITR>98 AND DOWN ITR

What has been done to the engine? What are your plans for car?

 

FYI, H-Motors online has ctr intake cams for $219.00

CTR pulley/ no AC or PS
Titanium drive axels
Micro polished wheel bearings
11lb PIAA wheels with new rubber gforce sports 205/50/15

I was hoping some ITR cams and a Manifold a new TB and a set of fresh Injectors would liven up this setup a bit; I plan on getting it mapped with s300 later in the year


I plan on foolin around in HPDE and NASA with in the year
