Default any vtec guru's out there?

im doing a mini-me swap on my 1996 Civic LX and I was wondering if I could run my stock ECU and put vtec on an RPM switch? and if i did, does the vtec pressure sensor need to be ran to a constant hot, a key hot, or to the same rpm switch as the solenoid? sorry for asking dumb questions, can't find the answer anywhere else!

That's a bad idea because you wont have the correct fuel and ignition outputs from the ECU to make any use of the added air in the combustion chamber.

A VTEC ECU costs less than $150 and only requires two added wires. VTEC is not a topic that requires a "guru". It simple in theory, operation, and maintenance.
