RPM instability when braking
When I come to stop, press the clutch AND then press the brake, sometime my RPM will drop to ~500 and almost stall (but it never stalls) and then "catch" itself and go back to a normal RPM 700-800. If I put it in to neutral and then press the brake its ok.
I have replaced TPS and checked % and its ok
could it be because of the IACV thats dieing?
Thansk for your help

so if the engine is at idle and you are holding the brake and the transmission is in neutral it does not have a problem. but when you have the clutch and brake depressed it acts up? is this right
Alright found a post with exactly the same symptoms as I have. I'll try this and it should solve it

I have the same problem, cleaning my IACV did not solve it. I have just learned to live with it.
I also have a roaming idle at (very) cold startup, so maybe I just have some sort of other problem.

Ok, I did the IACV cleaning, but it was pretty clean when I took it off. Problem is not fixed
I cleaned my egr last summer, changed my TPS like a month ago and cleaned the IACV, I have no idea what to do next....
I have no surging idle so no vacuum leaks...
Any suggestions???
