1) take off the weather stripping
2) get a piece of wire like the kind used on brakes on bicycles
3) try to create a whole to get the wire through
4) wrap each end of the wire around each hand
5)saw along the windshield with the wire to cut the glue
6) remove windshiled

just did this to me ej1 last night let me find the tool i used
you wedge the blade under the glass through the glue and pull on the cable its a bit of work and mine cracked in a few places but it came out in one piece

at the junk yard we would use wire, a bit thinner than the stuff on bicycles... get two little pipes with a hole through the center of each, feed the wire through one of the pipes, wrap it around.. then feed the other end through a slit in the urethane you are going to cut with a olfa blade. once the wire is through feed it through your other pipe, wrap it tight and start sawing
