Default Tein S tech vs H tech

Okay need opinion, S tech or H tech for DC2 w/ tokico HPs

only reason im asking because im switching out my coilovers for springs,

S techs are 2.6 F and 1.7 R.

H tech are 1.7F- 0.9R

Im leaning towards H techs because of daily driving,

anyone w/ experience w/ either system?

I use S techs with tokicos on my daily driven GSR and the ride is smooth like stock. I don't scrape unless going over some speed bumps but just taking those at an angle and it won't scrape. They lower the car more than H techs and I think it gives it a better look.

JmurGSR98 did you ride on stocks wheels or aftermarket? Im on 17s w/ 205/40s

thinking long and hard about it now, leaning towards the s-tech based on your comments ahha, but im in florida, roads arent the best conditions

edit: also thinkin bout HR springs 1.75 F and 1.5 R. Same price as the teins.
HR probably the one im going with, 2.6 and florida speedbump dont mix too well

I have s-techs on w/ kyb agx's and they ride real nice. Not to mention the ability to change the dampening as I please.

do you have the s tech or the h tech just saying that you have tein doesn't help when the op is asking about s and h techs and you just say that you have tein - real big help

haha its cool, i decided to go with the HR (1.75F and 1.5R) because it wasn't too low, and w/ sag and shock it should be near 2" drop.

If i had smoother roads and encounter less speed bumps, i would've taken the 2.6 drop anyday. but i cant since i have crazy Speedbumps in my school and neighborhood.

your tokico HPs wont Handel the H&R sport springs man... it will void the warranty for sure! you need to upgrade shocks to atleast AGX or Illumina, if you got the cash though Koni!

But if your still going to stay w/ the HP , please do your self a favor and get a full camber kit, your going to need it!

I was riding on stock wheels. I think you'll really like the s-techs. Like I said, i only scraped cause of some of the speed bumps around here but got through that by going at an angle. And I drive back and forth to Pittsburgh where the roads are the worst I've ever seen and never had any problems.

did you get the plain H&Rs or the sports? the high spring rate stuff doesn't usually work so well with the tok blues. tokico's own lowering spring works pretty well and it's either stock or 20% up from stock depending on who you talk to.

get the s techs. 2.6 drop on 17's on your integra you're not going to scrape speedbumps unless you let the car drop down really hard on it, im dropped like somewhere around 4 inches, on 14's and i just have to go sideways and i dont scrape. so dont worry about it, you'll ride fine.

well i haven't placed the orders yet on the HR... daym you guys... making me run back to the S-techs ahhaha.

HR sports 1.75F and 1.5R
HR plains 2F and 1.75R
S Tech 2.6R and 1.7F looks like its 70% chance of S-techs ahah

I have Koni Yellows with Ground Controls and I control what height I want whenever I want and I control how much dampening I want whenever I want. I also have the ability to choose softer spring rates whenever I want and I can choose stiffer spring rates whenever I want.
