looking to buy integra gs-r...good deal????
I am looking to buy an integra GS-R. So far it has been difficult to find a good one for a good price. I am located in a small town in TN so finding one near by is a trick too. Anyway i found a 94 GS-R with 185k miles on it. The engine was rebuilt at 90k so it has about 95k on the engine. I ran a car fax report on it and it has a clean title, no salvage/junk title etc., However it did have an accident report reported two years ago where it was hit in the right front. I talked to the seller about it and he said he just replaced the fender and there was no frame damage or anything, however i am thinking an accident report with decrease the value of the car. Anyway the cheapest he will let it go for is 4500.00 Is it worth this much?
Should i buy it or wait? How much are 94 integra GS-R's going for with average miles?
thanks

just because the motor was rebuilt it doesn't mean that it won't have problems. remember, a car is not only the engine. also, if the tranny is original, i can almost guarantee that if the synchros aren't gone now, they'll be gone soon.
i would NOT buy the car. get more money, or get something cheaper.

Engine rebuilt at 90k miles? That is a car to stay away from, the engine was poorly maintained and so was the rest of the car.

regardless how much its worth because your just going to have problems later with it and it will probably cost alot to fix them. I would just keep saving and looking around plus 185k miles, I know hondas and acuras last long but its not worth it. Also you don't even know if there is no frame or body damage. There are scandalous peope out there.
