ok this is for my friends 94 cd5 he want to go turbo but doesnt know if he should and the main thing is that he wants to stay auto and make his s**t faster what do u guys suggest he do??? any other options but keep in mind auto tranny!

lol not do it, you wont get the right boost performance out of it because you wont control your own engine RPM. Turbo's are designed to run of the high rpm exhaust flow and it wont happen with an auto, the engine wont get to the right amount of speed in each gear except for maybe 5th.

 

so what should he do hes stubborn and wants to stay auto?

 

i've NEVER heard of not going turbo because of the inability to control your own rpms.. in fact.. turbos on automatics are generally more reliable due to the fact that the shift points are quicker and there's less turbulence in the amount of air being spooled. I've owned a turbo auto before and i'd say go for it. the ONLY limitation would be the transmission, which on the CD5 platforms are said to be bulletproof. Take that for what its worth though.

 

so what kind of turbo does he need t3 t4 ect... and how much torque and hp will it make what other mods does he need on it?
