Default Which distributor to use with JDM h22a motor/usdm h23a harness?

I have both the h23a external coil+distributor, and the h22a internal coil distributor. I'm told I have to use the external coil distributor, and would have to modify a plug if I wanted to use the h22a internal coil one.

What plug do I have to modify, and what exactly needs to be changed? I'd prefer using the internal coil distributor, so I don't have to worry about mounting the h23's coil anywhere.

This is in a '93 Prelude Si with a JDM p13 ecu. I searched around, even tried google, and all I can really find is h23-to-h22 swaps in Accords...and a lot of that info doesn't apply to me.
