I got this horribly loud squeeking noise when you turn the wheel on my 94 accord. you also get it a little when you push up and down on that side. Anyways, im about to replace the ball joint but wanted to know if you guys think its the ball joint too. Its kinda hard to diagnose the problem because as soon as u put the car in the air, the sound goes away because the wieght is off. the only real way is to just put your head as close to the wheel as u can while turning the wheel and try to pinpoint it, which i have and its loudest right behind the rotor, which is the ball joint. Let me know what you think.

lube your sway bar bushings first

 

Could be ball joint(s). Have someone turn the steering wheel back and forth while you feel around the suspension with your hand. The squeak will also produce a vibration that can be felt with your hand.
