Is this slick to big?

I can get a good deal on a set of 25/8.7 on 13 inch lensos, i was wondering if those would be to big?

ek hatch
hopefully making close to 400 whp
gsr stock bore wiseco pistons/eagle rods
rc ramhorn/3in dp
usdm gsr trans with ctr lsd

Just run higher tire pressure.
You may have some cutting to do in the wheel well and may be the fender opening.

Most run 24 or smaller Dia.

...stock axels?? your prob. better with a 24 or smaller

stock axles....and in process of build so thats goal as far as power goes

That translates to about mid to high 300s. At that HP, even a 23x8x13 will work ok. Once you start making 400-450, you have to use at least a 24.5x8.5x13

But a 25x8.7 is way too much for your 300hpish setup.

I agree with Wil
