Default Tick Tick Tick from the intake manifold???

Whats up?
Ive got a slight issue(well a few) that I cannot seem to pinpoint the cause of. In the early morning, as well as anytime, as a matter of fact, I get a tick noise from the top part of my motor. It also shakes a little during idle. I can feel it shake, then stop, then shake then stop. The needle doesnt move on the tach, but I feel it. I also hear that ticking. Could that be the timing belt? I have a question as to when that was changed. Or could it be a plug misfiring? Im confused. I moved from a Cadi to a Honda, so I am used to my car telling me when it was sick. Any ideas on this doozy? Thanks bros!

It seems you need to adjust the valve clearance.

What does that mean? Would that have something to do with timing at all? Furthermore, it happens most when its cold out.
Accord99... I have no clue.. I bought this car at 95k.. Its at 109k. Im gunna replace the cap and rotor this weekend.

If it only happens when engine is cold, that will be normal. If there is still tick noise when engine warms up, you may need to adjust the valve clearance. A larger valve clearance will create some tick noise.

If its a 99 Accord the noise should be pretty mild as oppose to the older F series. The Tick sound should be mild. In any case "loose valves are happy valves" on a stock honda motor.

It can be a factor, at one time my timing belt was oil soaked. the belt got mushy and loose so it threw off my timing.
