Default DM200 OBD2 compatable with OBD2a->OBD1 adaptor harness??

I have Hondata S300 with boost control, the car is a 1998 Civic Type-R, Im interested in buying one of these IMFD DM200-OBD2 guage systems but I have a few questions..

*Will it still work with the conversion harness in place?
*where is the OBD2 interface on my Civic EK9?

Figured this is the best place to find-out if anyones using this type of setup!??

It communicates on the data line from your OBD2 ECU. Once you convert to OBD1, the datastream changes; this means this piece you speak of will no longer work the way it was intended.
