Default BEWARE OF HT MEMBER Sii. !!!!

**UPDATE**

met up with Sii. everything is all good. got the money back and gave him back his ECU.

ok well i didnt want to do this buy this guy has done me wrong. about a 3 months ago i bought a chipped p28 off this guy for $120 for a buddy of mine. since my friend didnt have internet, i was the middle man. so yea, i went to go pick the ECU up for my friend. the guy who sold me it seemed pretty cool and he said that there was nothing wrong with the ECU. so i took his word for it. i didnt have a honda right there to plug it up and check it out. so, i took it anyways. i took the ECU to my buddy and he tryed it out on his car. the car ran like ****. the chip was for a b16 with VTEC at 5k and a redline at 8500 RPM i think. the my buddy tried the ECU on his friends car and it ran the same. he must of tried like 8 different cars.

so i contacted Sii. and told him what was going on. he said that he was having a money problem at the time, so my buddy was reasonable about it. we gave him 3 weeks, i PMd him back asking what was going on. Sii. said that he was trying to sell some stuff so that he could pay my buddy back. its been 3 months now and he never paid up nor heard anything from him... stuff like this makes HT look bad. any help would be good.

H-T username: Sii.

does anyone have his number or somethin? any help would be great. thanks HT.

So did VTEC kick in at 5K and redline at 8500? If so, then what seems to be the problem. Maybe dude had it chipped for a stock b16. Maybe you should have done some homework and asked what it was chipped for. Was it a plug and play kind of chip or a custom one utilizing CROME. I have a stock b16 and I got my p28 chipped with CROME. VTEC kicks in at 5K and redlines at 8500...b/c i have stock internals.

Why dont you have phearable or kenji just make you a chip for 20 shipped? If the ECU is chipped/socketed, that's all you need. Easy. Screw wasting your time trying to get your money back...just spend 20 bucks and call it a day. In the end, you would spend a total of 140...120 for the ECU, 20 for the chip. Still cheaper than the average 150 for a chipped ECU. Plus, you'll be able to tell kenji or phearable what mods you have done on the car and the can customize the maps to fit your modifications. Much better than just using some random chipped ECU.

Better yet, bring the ECU and the car to whitfield, get it tuned for 150 and you're done.

the guy said that he used the ECU for a stock b16 motor with basic bolt ons (headers, intake, exhaust, ect.) no internals were done to it. my friend even went to get another chip made for it and it still ran the same. he got a chip made for it twice.

i dont see a problem really (hear me out): Its chipped so the chip is going to work for the orignal sellers set-up. from readin and experience it is best to get that ECU to chip it yourself with your own tune or a OEM map if your running stock. It was just a communcation error i guess.
I recently sold my chipped P28 but with 4 chips but I told the guy to try them all out and see whichever one he likes best

the problem is that the ECU is fu*ked up. my buddy got another chip and got his friend to make him a stock b16 map. and it still ran like crap.
