In '06 I had a blast doing almost every event two local auto-x series, but in '07 one of the clubs lost their auto-x site. Now in '08, I've just learned that the other club I raced with lost their site as well (not sure why yet), and the first one still doesn't have one. So I believe there are only two series left in WA, both an hour and a half drive or ferry. Not too bad still I guess, but definitely not what it used to be.
So I'm bummed that my season just got decimated. I guess this is a chance to get into some other form of racing perhaps, or go to a Nationals event or two just to see how competitive I am. *sigh*

Same thing happened out here in Virginia. We used to have 4 car clubs just in the VA Beach area and had an awesome Winter and Summer series. In fact you used to be able to autocross just about every weekend of the year if you wanted to. Sometimes we would have 2 or more events going on the same weekend so you would have to decide which one you would rather go to.
Now we only have one club doing autocrosses and only a summer series
Seems to be bad across the country.
