the standard 350/250 spring rates GC gives fro the EF is fine for daily. it will be firmer than stock and as stiff as any aftermarket spring kit available.
when you want to change spring rates, you can buy a new pair or trade with others.

no, not necessarily.
but i do think youll enjoy any aftermarket spring kit just as much. personally, i like eibach pro kits. theres a myraid number of spring kits at different ride heights and spring rates. it might a bit trial and error tho. so do your best to research.
GC kit allows adjustment of height and switching of springs for different spring rates. it is a bit overkill, but its useful to some who really want to get the exact ride hieght they want, and exact spring rates. the only benefit of a regular spring kit is that the rears are typically progressive which makes for a more comfortable ride. GC springs are only linear spring rates.
just know that everytime you change the ride height, you change the toe alignment. which affects tire wear and handling performance. so you need to realign the car everytime you adjust ride height.

ok , bear with me please , if i decide no to get the gc , would koni yellows and a progressive eibach spring be the way to go . thanks for the help .
it would be fine.
but... for the money, i think tokico illuminas and eibach prokits make a better value and perform great. that was my first setup on my crx and loved it.
