Default ****Stolen eg hatch in socal*****

well like the title says my car got stolen in the city of perris. the funny thing about this was that nobody in my neighborgood knew what i had except for one person, i never took my car out to the track or to any meets whatsoever, these guys not only stole my car but broke into my DC and stole my vtec contr. type r ecu and a pioneer cd deck. Im thinking these guys towed my car because i had removed my ecu, since my shyt is streetuned it would be very hard nearly impossible for someone to try and drive off with a reg. h22 ecu.

these guys were nearly pros' but what is also funny is that i have a camera directly pointed at my cars always recording. lol cant belive they did not notice it. although i know i wont get my car completely back i know ima catch these bastards and do everything in my power to pay them back the favor.

i would really appreciate if people in the socal area have a look out for my car and hit me up if they spot it. my number is (951)965-1321

car description:
it was a frost white eg, dropped with meshes with azenis in the front.

things that can be seen to notice it:
it had a "The lab" sticker in the lower right of my bumper, and also in the
front windshield
it had a rear ctr rear lip with stock gsr exhaust and sidemarkers.
it should have the driver side window broken

mods: h2b full swap with the evo kit. will have pics up soon.

the first picture shows exactly how my cars were parked....the other two are when i got it freshly painted
again please help peeps. report any parts being sold in the streets.

sorry bout that hopefully it turns up.
nice spot on "the lab" sticker, makes it easier to spot, got to do something like that to my car.
now, does the hood still pop up a little on the driver side or both or not all,
just got to know what to look out for

this sucks guys, hopefully you guys never go through this. my pride and joy is gone its an unexplainable feeling, i still cant belive its gone over 8k invested thrown in the trash

and yes the first pic is the most current one. it still has spacers on the hood so it should not be able to spot.

thanks guys really appreciate it!

Doubt it. Removing the ECU is not a recommended security tactic. You might be surprised to find that a number of ECU's will drive the car just fine although it may throw codes, go into limp mode, not engage VTEC, or at the very least, not make the same power.

There's a heightened awareness of tow truck thefts and many thefts are attributed to tow trucks w/out any evidence. Tow truck theft is very rare and is mostly used in insurance scams and only in certain areas.

I'm not trying to criticize you. I'm actually trying to be helpful. If you go to the cops and say "I think they towed it", the cops may just be looking for your car on a tow truck or looking at people that have that as a resource. When in truth it was probably some dumb kids.

car still not found!!

the police themselves said it was towed away. there are many things out there that can tow cars, it did not have to be a TOW TRUCK it could have been a tow dolly of some sort. And yeah its true about the ecu, its still possible for them to take off in it but i highly doubt it. when my car is cold it revs up and down like crazy untill it warms up, i know i would have heard it rev up atleast a block away, btw it had a huge heaeder leak so yea it would of been loud.

anyways thanks for the info.

Man i dont even know how i am able to type this right now but my car was found, i spoke to the sheriff and i asked him if it had anything left he told me he was sorry and that my car was not worth the 250 fine to take it out of the yard. i dont want to see it cuz i know ill just brake down. unfortunately i cant leave work early since i missed a day already so i have no time to go check it out but i might send my cousin to go.

yeah, i have some good shots, but i dont want to post them on here, say someone does know who did it maybe they will notify the people and let them know and might just flee town or something, im not saying honda-tech has thieves but i bet there are many users on here that MISUSE this site so im going to wait, i already spoke to the cops about it and they want a copy so it might take some time but it will be well worth it.
