how many miles a year do you drive?
hey, i just wanted to get a sense of how everyone else is doing. i do about 6-8k a year and i feel bad for the car cause its so nice lol. and am considering buying a beater.

30k total per year between both cars. Around 8k of that on my S2000. Most of the miles are put on driving to tracks and on nice weekends. I only drive it to have fun with it.
Mine's an 00 with 24k. Bought it with 18K about a year and a half ago.

ive only had my S for 4 months, but ive put about 1200 miles on it. trying to keep it under 5k miles/year so im emissions exempt and i dont have to pay more on my insurance

I've averaged 4K a year on my S. 
I feel bad for not giving it the attention it deserves. Each year I am trying to get it out more and more.
The rest of my miles are put on my DD Fit. Between 14K and 16K

I just got my s2k inspected a couple weeks ago.....
and from February of last year to february this year, I put 5800 miles on.....
I put the rest of the miles on the ITR roughly 5000

hmm.. I got my car last year end of May '07 with 10k miles.. its mid March '08 and I currently have 33k on it.. hmmm so i guess 40+k miles a year..

got my ap2 new 6 months ago today actually... it has just under 9k and the funny thing is i've been trying to drive my dad's car more to work for the last couple weeks... 50 mile round trip to work FTL

my old daily commute was 50 miles/day... now its about half of that, but the same amount of time due to traffic. the time doesnt bother me, just the mileage i was putting on my cars

At this rate I'm on track to put a whopping 2500 miles on the S this year if it's not sold by then. It's a fun car that I only drive when it's nice enough to leave the top down from the time I leave the house until I get home.

that's not much. Why feel bad? It's a fun car....enjoy it. If the weather was nicer in Illinois, I'd probably drive mine way more. I love driving it in the summer...even if it is just going to the store or something. I just dont like driving it places where there's a HIGH likelyhood of it getting vandalized, ran into, or door dinged (school, work, chicago if I'm parking for a while, etc.).
